He was the first African-American Chief Magistrate in Arizona history and at the time of his appointment to the bench he was 33 years old and the youngest Chief Judge in the United States. Judge Wilson served as the Chief Diversity Officer, Title IX Coordinator, Director of Social Equity, Agency Open Records Officer and Ombudsman for Edinboro University.
